Texas Ranger Championship

As a Texas artist and sports fan, getting the opportunity to contribute to the Texas Rangers Championship Ring display was a project I won't forget. Fabricated at Smash Designs, the large-scale piece was created to celebrate the Rangers' historic 2023 World Series victory and give fans a chance to experience the championship legacy up close.

My role centered on one of the most meticulous stages of the build: hand-placing every diamond throughout the sculpture. Each stone was individually positioned to create the brilliance, depth, and visual impact that makes a championship ring feel so iconic. Watching the piece transform as thousands of reflective details came together was incredibly satisfying.

Knowing that this sculpture would become part of the fan experience at the stadium made every detail feel important. It was a reminder that sometimes the smallest elements can have the biggest impact on a finished piece.
