Inauguration Ball 2025

Few projects carry the historical weight of contributing to an American Presidential Inaugural Ball. During my time at Smash Designs, I had the opportunity to help fabricate the grand decorative columns featured at President Donald J. Trump's 2025 Inaugural Ball.

My work included sculpting, fabrication, and finishing details on these large-scale architectural elements. Inspired by classical architecture, the columns were designed to create an elegant backdrop for one of the nation's most significant ceremonial events. Achieving the proper scale, proportions, and finish required careful attention to detail throughout the fabrication process.

Seeing something I helped build become part of such a nationally recognized event was both exciting and rewarding. Projects like this remind me how sculpture can help shape the atmosphere and visual identity of moments that become part of history.
