Representing one of the most recognizable mascots in college athletics, the University of Florida Gator sculpture was a rewarding project I contributed to during my time at Smash Designs. Designed to capture the energy, strength, and personality associated with the Florida Gators, the piece required a combination of sculptural problem-solving and detailed craftsmanship.

My contributions included sculpting, assembly, and surface development throughout the build. Working with a variety of materials, I helped shape and refine the gator's form while carefully fitting individual components together to create a cohesive and dynamic final sculpture. The process required both precision and creativity, as each element needed to contribute to the movement, texture, and overall character of the piece.

Seeing the finished sculpture come together was incredibly satisfying. Projects like this highlight the balance between artistic vision and hands-on fabrication that made my experience at Smash Designs so rewarding.
