Country music and western craftsmanship came together in this custom 2024 championship belt created for Cody Johnson. Fabricated at Smash Designs, the piece was designed to reflect the grit, tradition, and larger-than-life presence that have become synonymous with his brand.

My contributions focused on the intricate sculptural details throughout the buckle. Using a variety of Dremel tools, I engraved decorative elements, refined lettering, and helped develop the dimensional textures that gave the piece its distinctive character. I also spent time sculpting the animal motifs, carefully building depth and realism to ensure every detail felt worthy of a championship piece.

Seeing the finished belt become part of Cody Johnson's events and public appearances was incredibly rewarding. Projects like this remind me how much craftsmanship can be packed into even the smallest details, and it remains one of the most enjoyable pieces I contributed to during my time at Smash Designs.
